Trysil
Trysil is a doubleknit shawl with traditional Norwegian stars/snowflakes.
Trysil itself is a town in the mountains of eastern Norway. It is a famous ski resort, offering both downhill skiing and cross country trails.
It’s fully reversible, and the size is adjustable in pattern. It can be knit in a variety of yarn weights, from light fingering to DK – as shown, it’s knit in light fingering weight.
The pattern is charted and includes detailed instructions for 2 different methods of double-knitting.
