Double-knit scarf in geometric pattern inspired by the designs on Turkish tiles. The scarf is named after the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul, which is filled with amazing tile designs.
The pattern includes detailed instructions on two different methods of double-knitting

Yarn: 2 x 100 g of fingering weight yarn in contrasting colours, e.g. Wollmeise 100% Sockenwolle, Sanguine Gryphon Eidos, Sanguine Gryphon Skinny Bugga
Needles: 2.75 mm circular needles
Gauge: 23 sts x 36 rows = 10cm in pattern

Its like you read my mind! I’m just back from Istanbul, and I was thinking that
some of the ceramics would make beautiful knit pieces.
I think that it would be nice to have a few pics of the actual palace to drive the message home a
little bit, but other than that, this is fantastic
