Announcing the Mystic Star Shawl knitalong!
Mystic Star is a circular shawl which draws its inspiration from the starry night sky.
There will also be a semicircular version of the shawl available.
The finished diameter is approximately 130 cm (51”)
My shawl is knit on 3.25 mm needles, using 10/2 Tencel (laceweight) yarn from Yarntopia Treasures (1,050 yds per 4 oz skein) in the Seaweed colourway. The circular shawl uses 1 skein (approx 1,050 yds), and the semicircular shawl uses approx. 1/2 skein (550 yds). The 10/2 Tencel is available on Etsy and on eBay.
As always, yarn substitutions are encouraged.

The pattern will be made available for a knitalong, starting January 26.
It will be distributed to the members in four consecutive pieces, once a week on Mondays.
The last part of the pattern will be released on February 16.
The KAL is completed, but the pattern is available for purchase here.
All members of the KAL will have access to the clues as well as the complete pattern in one nice set at the end of the KAL.
