Baby Diaper Covers

One of my friends has recently taken up knitting (she’s knit a scarf and a hat), and decided to tackle something more difficult. She decided to knit some diaper covers, but got stuck on the pattern because she didn’t know how to join the stitches for knitting in the round. She brought her project here and I helped her.
When she left, she forgot the pattern here……
Very clever. So here we go. A few diaper covers for her newborn son. :-)

The pattern is available for free here. I used 2 skeins of Berroco Peruvia and 4.0 mm needles for the blue one, and 5.5 mm needles for the other two. I modified the ribbing to 1×1 ribbing, and the eyelet row to k1, yo, k2tog, p1.
