My wrist now feels a lot better, and I can knit again. I have knit half of the third panel of my Aran Afghan. So all that is left is the last half and the edging pieces. It’s fun to see how it’s growing.
Lizard Ridge has taken a bit of a back seat in the push to finish the Aran Afghan.
I have also been experimenting with lace knitting. I am picking up “A Gathering of Lace” at the library this evening, and I’m hoping that will help. I’m eying a lace shawl pattern for a Peacock Shawl, but I should probably at least experiment a little longer. I have also ordered some sample yarn from Sarah’s Yarns and am eagerly awaiting its arrival so I can play more.
Finally, I’m designing a pair of socks so I have something to knit while traveling this summer. First up is a trip to Istanbul in July, and I think sock-knitting will be perfect. If only I manage to get the needles on board the airplane….
